Irish Wedding, Wales Visit

Congrats to Dave and Lynn! On the happiest of occasions, Kristin and I journeyed to Ireland in early October to celebrate their wedding in Killarney. It was Kristin's first trip to Ireland, and my second. The bride and groom are good friends of ours from Boston:

It was such an honor and a pleasure to be invited! We had a wonderful time exploring the Ring of Kerry in a tour bus (fully supplied with beer), touring the pubs in Killarney, and, well, drinking with friends and family in that magnificent Manor! O Danny Boy!

You can view the complete set of photos we took here. So, seriously, let's do an anniversary with everyone again in Breckenridge.

After the wedding, Kristin and I hopped over to Wales to visit our long-time friends Sam and Rebecca in Swansea. We learned a little Welsch (not really), took in a lecture, and you guessed it: drank a pint at Worm's Head. Uh, is there a pattern of behavior here?

If you want to see more photos of Wales, go here. Huge THANKS! to Sam and Rebecca (and Luke!) for being such gracious hosts - we miss you guys!

Hi Mark and Kristin -

Sounds like fun times for you guys - now, next time, how about a stop over in Oslo for some good times? Can't say anything about the beer around here - you'd have to ask David on that one - but they do have some fine hot chocolate:)

Send hugs,
Meg

Mark,
It's Christmas Day and a large part of our dinner conversation surrounded aspects of dancing. The Cherry Poppin' Daddies came up which made me think of you. A quick search produced your blog : ) This is Rebecca Hage (Espina) from CU Boulder and the SNOE Team. Sounds like you and your wife are well and it would be great to get in touch with you. respina@pedroespina.com I will be in Colorado with my daughter Alexandra in late February visiting my parent's in Silverthorne. Funny I read that you and Kristin got married in Breckenridge in 2004. Pedro and I got married in Silverthorne in August of 2004. Well hope to hear from you. Rebecca
